The YMCA of the Capital Area is a membership organization open to all
people. The YMCA welcomes women and men, girls and boys of all ages,
races, ethnicities, religions, abilities and financial circumstances.
Programs and branches embrace diversity, reflecting the needs and
composition of the communities they serve. Your citywide membership is
good at all seven Capital Area YMCA locations.

Membership Definitions
Adult - any person 18 years or older
Household - any adults or children who reside in the same house.
Verification in the form of ID, lease statement, etc. is required for all adults. This membership includes 2 adults and 4 children, additional household members may join at a charge of $10.00(per month) for additional adults and $5.00 (per month) for additional children.
Student - any person enrolled in university/technical college full-time. Defined as at least 12 hours for undergraduate and 9 for graduate students
Senior - any person 65 years or older.
Youth - any child ages 3-17.
Corporate - must provide proof of current corporate employment.
State - must provide proof of current state employment
Youth Policy
A child must be at least 15 years old to be left alone in the building and can stay no more than four hours per day.
Children age 14 and under may not be left in the building without a parent/guardian on the premises, and can stay no more than two hours per day (while the parent/guardian is using the facility).
Youth must be 15 years of age to use the equipment in the fitness center.
Youth ages 12-14 who have been trained by a YMCA fitness staff to use the fitness equipment may exercise in the fitness center only under the supervision of a parent/guardian.
The YMCA reserves the right to counsel/discipline any persons who are not adhering to the rules of the YMCA.
Guest Policy
YMCA Facilities are provided for the use of YMCA members. We welcome individuals requesting information about prospective membership. They will be given a guided tour and printed material An individual not expressing interest in joining may still accompany a member into the facility by payment of a guest fee.
Members are always invited to bring in friends and encourage them to join. YMCA members are limited to one guest per member visit. Guest privileges are provided at the YMCA by purchasing a guest pass for $10. Each guest is limited to three visits in a 12 month period. Guests must be 18 years of age and older, are required to present a valid photo I.D and must be accompanied by a YMCA member.
Please note that the YMCA reserves the right to limit or deny guest pass privileges at any time. Also note that members are responsible for their guest's actions. Guest passes are not replaceable if lost or stolen.
Daily guest pass fees are $10 per person and limited to three per person, per 12 month period.
